4200 – Our beloved first café. We opened this coffee shop in Central Austin in May 2010.

If you’re looking for an intimate specialty coffee space? We would love to host you. Our low slung espresso machine inspired the design of the café.  Where we sought to place the barista in the very center of the space – allowing our guests to witness the craft of coffee in an interactive way.

Our North Lamar café proudly serves Central Austin, Rosedale, Hyde Park, Brentwood, Crestview, Anderson, and many other surrounding neighborhoods. You can also order your coffee togo if you are in a hurry.

This is where The PATTERN of COFFEE and PEOPLE was originally written on the wall as an aspirational idea. As we have grown into this Central Austin coffee space, it has become our culture and also our slogan.

We are a social fabric woven over lots of tiny moments everyday in our cafes.
